Author Guidelines

RICE manuscript submissions must be between 5,000 to 10,000 words, including references, and must follow the most recent edition of the APA Publication Manual.

Please remove all author identification in the manuscript. Include in the submission a separate cover page with complete author identification, affiliation, and contact information.

PROPOSAL GUIDELINES FOR GUEST EDITING A SPECIAL ISSUE


RICE welcomes proposals for special themed issues on a wide range of education-related topics. Interested editors or co-editors should submit a proposal with the editor or co-editor’s contact information and institutional affiliation, a working title for the special issue, a 1-2 page double-spaced explanation and rationale for the special issue, and a tentative schedule for publication. RICE article submissions for special issues must be between 3,000 to 10,000 words, including references, and must follow the most recent edition of the APA Publication Manual. 

COVID-19 Special Issue

All manuscripts must be written in MS Word and follow the guidelines of the 7th Edition of the APA style manual. The recommended final manuscript length is 1500 to 5000 words, including references.
