RICE Editorial Board Applications
Research Issues in Contemporary Education (RICE) is accepting applications to fill open
positions on its Editorial Board. We are seeking editorial board members who have experience
publishing on topics within the scope of the journal. Additional criteria for serving on the
Editorial Board includes experience reviewing research and practitioner-based articles for peer-reviewed journals.
Research Issues in Contemporary Education (RICE) is a nationally indexed, double-blind, peer-
reviewed online journal. RICE publishes educational research studies, literature reviews,
theoretical manuscripts, and practitioner-oriented articles regarding issues in education. RICE
also welcomes proposals for special-themed issues on a wide range of education-related topics.
If you agree to serve on the Editorial Board, it is a 3-year commitment and may be eligible for
renewal. Responsibilities of Editorial Board Members include:
- Review 2-4 journal articles a year;
- Suggest topics for special or themed issues;
- Maintain the ethical standards of the journal;
- Provide feedback to the Editor on how to improve the journal.
We are also seeking a Section Editor for media and book reviews.
